FAQ
- Do NDAs and MOUs really need MoJ certification?
- Not always. For internal or between-parties use, an agency certification is normally enough. Choose MoJ certification when the document may be produced in arbitration or litigation, or when a registry will record it.
- A will is being used to administer an estate abroad — is legalisation needed?
- In most countries yes: Ministry of Foreign Affairs legalisation and then the embassy of the country administering the estate, or an Apostille where the destination accepts one. We handle the full sequence.
- What does a power of attorney for overseas use require?
- Typically MoJ certified translation, then Department of Consular Affairs legalisation, then the destination embassy — or an Apostille for Hague Convention destinations. We confirm the correct route for your specific country before starting.
